Publication of the article "Optimizing renal mass histology prediction with artificial intelligence using handcrafted radiomics"

Congratulations to Mahdi Loutfi and Martin Vallières, as well as their co-authors, for the publication of their paper entitled "Optimizing renal mass histology prediction with artificial intelligence using handcrafted radiomics" in the World Journal of Urology.

The study uses CT radiomics and machine learning to distinguish clear cell renal cell carcinoma from other renal mass histologies. The best model achieved an AUC of 0.88 and a specificity of 93% on a hold-out set.
